The department of computer science at college of education of pure science held a discussion symposium entitled “ The advancement of societies through the techniques of science of nanotechnology in the field of pure science” in the main Hall of the conferences and symposiums on Tuesday, 3/1/2017. The aim of this symposium was to give definition of nanotechnologies and their applications in the areas of specialization and the positives of this technique in practice. The symposium included a definition of nanotechnology and the history of its development. The most important applications of nanotechnology techniques are that, used them to developed the electronic slides. Since the invention of the transistor and the silicon electronics industry the attention start to product slides which are containing a very small electronic components, which contributed significantly to the development of the computer industry, communications equipment and various electronic devices. The nanotechnology scientists aim is to develop chip components measured by the nanometer, and this development is opened large prospects in use in engineering, medicine, chemistry and other fields. Nanotechnology is being used in developing countries to help treat disease and prevent health issues. The umbrella term for this kind of nanotechnology is Nanomedicine. Nanotechnology is also being applied to or developed for application to a variety of industrial and purification processes. Purification and environmental cleanup applications include the desalination of water, water filtration, wastewater treatment, groundwater treatment, and other nanoremediation. In industry, applications may include construction materials, military goods, and nano-machining of nano-wires, nano-rods, few layers of graphene. Also, recently a new field arisen from the root of Nanotechnology is called Nanobiotechnology. Nanobiotechnology is the biology-based, application-oriented frontier area of research in the hybrid discipline of Nanoscience and biotechnology with an equivalent contribution. The nanotechnology is belong to the materials science and these techniques are related to the following sciences: physics, bioengineering, mechanical engineering and chemical engineering. The symposium recommended that, expansion in the field of scientific research in this direction in all the scientific aspects medical, engineering, agricultural and environmental can even follow what is new in this area in practice.
